From my  book "RECTANGLE PIZZAZZ" . The focus fabric used is either a large floral or animal (flora/fauna) print - and the surrounding block is called 'card trick' - a traditional block.  The panels are cut, small slices eliminated, and bars added.  A fun and easy quilt.     All levels - one day.
