One Hour Lecture

In February '09 I went on  a 3 week trip  to Cambodia  with my friend Susie Ernst, where we taught hand-quilting to young girls who have been rescued from the sex slave trade. This was both the most difficult and most rewarding thing I have ever done, and do I have stories and photos to share!  Girls ranged in age from 7 to about 18 .  They learned to hand-quilt motifs on beautiful Cambodian silk pillows (which they made) and will sell here in the USA (right now mostly through me). Also included visit to a silk farm and the famous ruins of Angkor Wat.  It is a fascinating lecture. Power point presentation + some of my newest and best quilts. (I can't do a lecture without quilts!!)

COMBO LECTURE

I also do a combination lecture - featuring both a trunk show (not quite so many quilts) and a 20  minute talk on my Cambodia trip (with power point if desired).  This is currently my most popular lecture.
