Judy Sisneros - Textured Landscapes

Textured Landscapes - the evolution of my original strip-pieces landscape class.  Work with strip-piecing, soft-edge applique and use my "spray and scrunch" technique to create texture in your own original scene.  All levels - 2 days or more.

I like some texture in my landscape quilts, and have found that using bits of ribbon, specialty yarns, glitzy embellishments, silk ribbon embroidery, hand-dyed scraps, etc. help give a landscape added interest.  I also find that sometimes the "wrong" side of the fabric works better than the "right" side!  This is a two or more day class - one day is not enough.
